RIVERFRONT - Gabriel Santiago & UT Jazz Orchestra

This was my last performance with the UT Jazz Orchestra after 4 years playing with them.
The piece was a wedding gift for my friend and musical partner Wayne Salzmann and his wife Alicia Salzmann.
Lastly, it was one the first concerts I did with my new NOVAES® Signature Series Guitar, the Baritone Nylon.

Gabriel Santiago Orchestra DVD "Alive" coming out soon!

The DVD/CD is almost ready and it will be released on May 10th, with a concert at the Elephant Room Jazz Club, here in Austin-Texas.. The concert will be broadcasted LIVE, starting at 9:30pm. You can watch here at the website...

Can't tell you how excited I am for seeing this project come to fruition!

Gabriel Santiago & UT Trombone Choir

I had the pleasure to also perform with the great UT Trombone Choir on their April 5th Concert.

We played the Jazz Standard "Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most".

Alex Heitlinger was the trombone soloist, Sam Pankey played Acoustic Bass and Jeff Olson played Drums.

Unlived Future - 3rd Performance

The wonderful University of Texas Trombone Choir performed my commissioned work "Unlived Future" for the 3rd time, on April 5th 2012 at Bates Recital Hall on their regular Concert series.

I'm excited to announce that I started working on the second commissioned work by the ensemble! It should be premiered early 2013.
